Enjoy some time for you, relax in my warm welcoming room and allow yourself to drift away as you leave the worries of the day behind you. Allow me to ease the aches and pains from your body with a nice oil massage with hot compress and my own version of the hot stone massage. Leave the stress of your day behind you whether it be from a day at the office, the hard work running a household, getting the kids sorted for school or just the need to spend some time spoiling yourself to a massage to refresh the body and clear the mind. The massage can be tailored to suit your needs both timewise and pressure wise. Appointments can range from 30 minutes through to 90 minutes, longer can be arranged if desired. The massage itself can range from relaxing through to deep tissue with you guiding me to what you like best. The massage is always about you leaving relaxed and feeling better physically and mentally for whatever else the day may bring.
If you feel the need for a more involved massage I can offer cupping as part of your massage. For those wanting to try something more Chinese there is the traditional Gua Sha massage, this is massage using a scraping tool to move stagnant chi. This massage is not a soft massage and i will work with you to determine the level of massage used during this treatment. It has benefits for back, shoulder and neck pain and can also help with insomnia. There are no real negatives but you can experience some soreness after but this quickly passes. There is also some light bruising as a result of the scraping but again this normally clears within 2-3 days. If you wish to include this in your massage please ask. There is no extra charge to include any of this in your massage.
At the end of every massage there is complimentary tea and home baking, this is normally Chinese honey cake but sometimes it may be cookies or cupcakes. This is my way of offering you a friendly ending to your massage if you wish to enjoy this. Unfortunately the baking is not gluten or allergen free sorry.
